2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans
A PGA Tour Event Benefiting our community, put on by the Fore!Kids Foundation
The Fore!Kids Foundation is an incredible organization that are friends to First Tee – Greater New Orleans and to many other non-profits and charities in the New Orleans area. Since 1958, they have distributed over $40 million to children’s service organizations. At the core of their fundraising is the annual Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the only PGA TOUR event featuring a two-man team format. This year’s Zurich Classic is happening from Monday, April 22 through Sunday, April 28, 2024. Keep reading to learn about the opportunities for participants and parents during Zurich Week.
Ways to Participate!
Junior Clinic & Celebrity Shootout
On Tuesday, First Tee and LCMC hosts an annual Junior Golf Clinic for all ages. The clinic is emceed by Kelly Gibson, PGA Tour professional from New Orleans, and has featured visits from a PGA Tour players in years past! No sign up is needed and participants do not bring their own clubs to these events.
After the Junior Clinic, participants have the option to stay for the Celebrity Shootout. In previous years, the event has featured celebrities such as Drew Brees, Sean Payton, and Chris Berman.
Caddie Day
On Wednesday, the Pro-Am event takes place for both the PGA Tour professionals and local amateurs. On the 3rd hole, we will have a designated area for participants ages 5-13 to serve as caddies for the PGA Tour players. Participants are assigned tee times for morning and afternoon waves. This is a really exciting day for our young golfers to meet professional golfers, get autographs, pictures, and more!
Caddie Day begins at 7am and ends approximately at 6pm. Please note that your participant will be assigned a specific time the week of the tournament, and we are unable to accommodate specific requests. Use the link below to sign up for either the morning or afternoon wave.

Junior Ambassadors
Thursday through Sunday, participants 14 years and older have the opportunity to cover the tournament as a First Tee Junior Ambassador. The ambassador(s) will get the chance to manage our First Tee social pages and gain insight into what it’s like to cover a professional golf event. They will also interact with local media and may have the opportunity to participate in a radio or television interview.
Volunteer With Us
Concessions Stands: We’re seeking adults 18+ for concession stand volunteers from April 25 – 28, 2024. Volunteers will assist with serving food and alcohol between holes 2-7, while enjoy Volunteer Village perks including refreshments, lunch, and First Tee gear. Gratuities go directly to First Tee. Experience this unique opportunity, and help us raise funds.
Marshals: We need volunteers for Gallery Management Ambassadors (Marshals) from April 24 – 28, 2024. Volunteers will help manage gallery noise & traffic, enforce health & safety policies, and ensure a great experience for guests. Marshals also serve as the evacuation committee for inclement weather. Volunteers must be 13+. Volunteers will also enjoy access to the Volunteer Village for refreshments, lunch and official Zurich merch.
Tournament Rounds
On Thursday through Sunday, participants 15 years and younger may attend tournament rounds for free with a ticketed adult. Families will get the chance to watch some of the world’s best golfers play their way around TPC Louisiana. Participants can also stop by the Children’s Hospital Kid’s Zone to check out our First Tee – Greater New Orleans booth!
