At First Tee – Greater New Orleans, coaches and volunteers help kids discover what’s inside of them and build the confidence to put it into action on and off the course.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals to serve as positive role models and mentors for kids and teens from all backgrounds. The relationships our coaches build with participants are at the heart of everything we do.
No golf experience required
You do not need to be a golf pro or even an experienced golfer. We provide all training and support. Our coach training focuses on positive youth development and gives you the tools to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for every child.
Ways to get involved
We rely on volunteers throughout the year, both on and off the course. Opportunities include:
- Coaching golf and life skills
- Fundraising and events
- Operations and administrative support
- Mentoring or tutoring
- In-school program support
